it is one of the beautiful village in ramamnathapuram district ,till 2000 bc the canal of village used to fill with water and many birds all over the world had the nest in the trees of canal ,but now a days the village lost its beauty because of less water source and peoples are migrated towards city due to less scope of farming and industrialisation

yes, thanks to the well wisher who has initiated in establishing a college for agriculture. the college has been built in a vast area and about ready for the inauguration. let us hope for the best and see our peraiyur is flourishing in all the areas. industrialation is the must for our region. recently power generating wind mills are coming near the kamuthi region which will fetch employment opportunity to some youngsters. thanks. k.rafi ahamed

ya im a professionalist born here only... from my childhood age itself we shifted with my family from here... in every year of my summer holiday in school, colleges day we are gonna there with my family, really i feel like heavenly peacefulness bcoz of that nature of my heavenly land (peraiyur). at the same time all kind of religious temples(hindu temples there in main bus stop, church is there in another on bus stop, masjid is there in centre of peraiyur) there in three corners of peraiyur all r living together without any any partiality. in every year we are celebrating "andu vizha" function in the month of may... such a great function these for us... we are a not interested to celebrate the depavali, pongal, etc... festivals, but like more this "andu vizha" function, in this function all are joining who all are stayed out of my native... really such a good place ... i really mesmerized with nature of my native ....
